This convenient marking tool was designed to help you make quick and accurate dovetail layouts and cuts for a multitude of woodworking projects. Perfect for the professional or DIY enthusiast, it allows you to make high precision, hand cut dovetail joints and lines on a variety of wood types. And it does so without the need of heavy and expensive machinery. It’s a handy tool that’s easy to use and provides truly accurate results.
Each dovetail marker has four different ratios (marked on both sides) for dynamic angles on hardwood or soft wood.
Two Inside Slopes: 1:10 and 1:6 (traditionally 1:10 for hardwood and 1:6 for softwood)
Two Outside Slopes: 1:8 and 1:5 (traditionally 1:8 for hardwood and 1:5 for softwood)
