Shipping Policy
At POWERTEC we ship your purchase the next business day after receiving your order. Shipments usually arrive in five to nine business days, depending on your location. You can track your shipment using the tracking number supplied in your confirmation email.
Shipping Rates
- Free shipping for orders $39 and over in the contiguous United States
- Orders less than $39 ship for a flat rate of $8.99 in the contiguous United States
- Shipping hours: 9am to 5pm, Pacific Time Zone
- Please note that orders received on holidays/weekends/Friday afternoons will be processed the following business day
- Additional shipping charges will apply for select oversized items. These will be indicated in your shopping cart and during checkout.
Shipping Service
Most of our shipments are delivered using USPS, UPS or FedEx. Depending on the merchandising or promotional program, we use USPS, UPS Ground, UPS SurePost, or FedEx. All of these services guarantee shipments in three to eight business days in the contiguous United States.
There are instances where we may use UPS SurePost instead. This service, on average, takes an extra business day for delivery as it leverages the United States Postal Service (USPS) to make deliveries 'the final mile' from the post office closest to the shipment's final destination to the recipient. UPS SurePost is very convenient for addresses and locations that UPS may have difficulty delivering to.

UPS SurePost delivers to all of these types of destinations.
- Shipments outside the Contiguous United States (excluding APO/FPO/DPO)
For shipments outside of the contiguous United States (Alaska and Hawaii, and all other offshore insular areas, such as American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Guam and Puerto Rico), please contact our customer service to find out more about the low rates available.
- International Shipping
All overseas orders are shipped using USPS, or DHL. International shipping fees are calculated based on weight. Please email customer service for more information about international shipping and the related costs.
Please note that POWERTEC bears no responsibility for the import taxes, custom duties and fees levied by the receiving country. Please also note that by ordering to a destination outside of the USA, the client assumes the duties and responsibilities of importer of record. All additional charges and paperwork for customs clearance must fulfilled by the recipient.
The importer of record is also responsible for complying with the laws and regulations of the destination country. It is the recipient's responsibility to ensure that the product can be legally imported to the destination country.
Return Policy
You may return any POWERTEC product that does not meet your expectations within 30 days of delivery for a full refund providing your proof of purchase. We will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. Some products have different policies or requirements associated with them. Before returning any item to POWERTEC, please contact one of our customer service representatives for more details.
You'll be charged a single flat fee $4.99 for each return shipment plus $0.5/lb for each item in that shipment; per-item charges are applied according to the product weight you're returning. You can return items from different orders in the same package.
In the event of a defective power tool product, POWERTEC will provide a return mailing label to facilitate the replacement or return. Please contact customer service staff for more details.
Refund Policy
Refunds are usually processed within three weeks of POWERTEC's customer service representatives receiving the return request email/phone call (847-780-6120). This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return item(s) from the shipper, usually five to ten business days; the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it, usually three to five business days; and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request, usually five to ten business days.
- Domestic US Orders: If for any reason you are not satisfied with a product, you may return it anytime within 30 days and we will gladly replace the product, give you credit, or refund your money, whichever you prefer.
- International Orders: If for any reason you are not satisfied with a product, Contact Us by e-mail immediately. Do not return the item to us without first contacting us for instructions.
IMPORTANT – POWERTEC’s return/refund policy is void under the following conditions
- Misuse or damage to the product cause by improper handling (usage not in accordance with the instructional manual)
- No proof of purchase
