Product Description

Introducing the Table Saw Crosscut Sled by POWERTEC.
This cross cut jig was designed to produce perfectly repeatable and highly accurate cross cuts when using a full-size contractor grade table saw. No matter the type of cut, this tablesaw sled kit performs efficiently and effectively. Large pieces can now be handled much easier and with greater accuracy.
- COMPLETE TABLE SAW SLED KIT – Includes MDF base (23-13/16”), MDF fence face, extruded aluminum fence, miter bar (3/8" D x 3/4" W), flip stop, hold-down clamp, installation hardware, wear strips, Allen key, screwdriver & instructions.
- PRECISION CROSSCUT SLED – Features easy-to-read 0.5° graduations, hairline indicator & adjustable 90° stop for mistake-free setups. Ideal crosscut sled for table saw projects.
- ZERO CLEARANCE CUT – Base is cut to fit the individual saw and blade, delivering cleaner edges, reduced tear-out, and accurate results every time.
- SAFE TABLE SAW ACCESSORY – Large base supports workpieces while flip stop & clamp hold stock steady, keeping hands away from the blade and reducing kickback risk.
- SMOOTH SLIDING ACTION – Equipped with wear-resistant low-friction tape for seamless table saw jig movement across your saw surface.
- PREMIUM WOODWORKING TOOL – Provides a large melamine-coated work surface & accurate scale that delivers repeatable results. Perfect table saw crosscut sled for contractor-grade saws.
The sled comes complete with stops and clamps used to hold the work, safely keeping hands away from the blade. This also gives you more control with less chance of kickbacks. The sled table is cut to fit the individual saw and blade – acting like a zero clearance insert.
PLEASE NOTE: Table saw crosscut sled is intended for use only on cabinet and full-size contractor-grade table saws with a standard 3/8" D x 3/4" W miter slot. It is NOT intended for use on portable saws and benchtop saws.

Great tool
I needed a crosscut sled that didn’t take up a lot of room in my shop. This definitely fit my needs. The assembly was simple and I was able to get it dialed in within minutes.

powertec table saw sled
this sled works even better than I figured it would. I added a second piece that lives in the right side of the blade to provide a thin kerf cut and the sled works even better than it does as a single sided sled.

71403 TABLE SAW CROSSCUT SLED KIT
Before anything else, I want to say how awesome the Powertec team is. The crosscut sled kit I ordered had been dropped in shipping, resulting in the corner of the sled being badly damaged (all other hardware was fine). I ordered the sled through Amazon but didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it via the Amazon site. I contacted Powertec directly and sent pictures of the damage, and within hours, they told me they would replace the sled. I shake my head when I think of all the hassles I had trying to build a sled compared to how easy setting up and squaring the Powertec is. I am so grateful to have this sled. The setup took minutes. I will add one tweak to the instructions, however. When inserting the nylon adjustment screws on the miter bar, make sure to screw them in so they are flush fully. For me, this was an important step to then back out the adjustment screws to stop the wobble. The instructions say not to tighten them because adjustment will come later, but if they are not flush, the miter might not fit the miter slot. The adjustments I had to make took two minutes. I did use the 5-cut method to square the sled. At this point, I have it to .006. I'm fine with that, but I know just minor adjustments with the set screw can dial it in. This design is so great. The included stop block and hold-down clamp work great and have already shown their worth in one day of project building. I'm a newbie woodworker, but I can tell this sled will greatly improve my game. Thanks Powertec.
