Introducing the 2-1/2” ABS Plastic Blast Gate by POWERTEC. This manual blast gate helps maximize your dust collection system by regulating proper air flow to your designated machine of choice. Acting as an in-line gate to control the vacuum flow to specified areas of your work shop, it’s designed to work seamlessly with a variety of flexible hoses, ducts, and 2-1/2” ID ports for an assortment of popular brands. Compatibility: Both ends have 2-1/2” OD outlet diameters and are designed to work with 2-1/2” ID dust hoses or other 2-1/2” ID ports. It will not connect directly to other 2-1/2” OD ports. Please confirm that the actual listed size fits your application before ordering. If connecting to a 2-1/2” OD port, a POWERTEC 70148 Flex Cuff or similar device will be required. Universal Fit: Featuring a nominal 2-1/2 inch OD diameter, this unit will provide a perfect fit for most professional and at-home workshop dust collection systems. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned woodworker, it’s extremely easy to use and install. NOTE: To prevent clogging and the gate from sticking, this blast gate requires regular cleaning of the dust that builds up in the groove where the gate slides.
