- MOUNTING AND INSTALLATION SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Always inspect the grinding wheel before use. Look for visible cracks, chips, or other signs of damage. Do not attempt to enlarge the arbor hole or modify the wheel in any way. To check for hidden cracks, perform a ring test by suspending the wheel and lightly tapping it with a non-metallic tool. A clear ringing sound indicates the wheel is structurally sound, while a dull sound may signal internal damage and should not be used. Improper use or installation of a damaged wheel can lead to wheel breakage and serious injury. Always mount securely and follow proper safety procedures during use.
- FUNCTION: This wheel works on carbon steel and tool steel (NOT including tungsten carbide, cemented carbide & ceramic tool), making it ideal for tool grinding, smoothing blades and metal working
- APPLICATIONS: Works exceptionally well on tools like drills, mills or disposable tips for burring, grinding, stock removal, blending, rust removal, cleaning and finishing
