Introducing the 6" - 4" Dust Collection Reducer by POWERTEC.
This dust collection adapter is assigned with the specific task of connecting your 4" inner diameter dust collection hose to a 6" ID version. Ultimately, this reducer was designed to help enhance the performance of your dust collection system by increasing air velocity between the hoses and your shop vac or dust collection system. This will provide you with a cleaner and safer working environment.
- INCLUDES: (1) Dust Collector Hose Reducer
- FUNCTION: Provides a reliable connection between a 6" dust collection hose to a 4" dust collection hose (not meant for PVC pipe or other plastic fittings)
- QUALITY BUILD: Made with premium ABS plastic for strength, durability and optimal impact resistance – commonly needed for workshop and woodworking applications
- FEATURES: A flange that allows for a quick connect and disassembly for your convenience
- DIMENSIONS: 4" Nominal end actual OD size 3.93" and ID size 3.73" | 6" Nominal end actual OD size 5.93" and ID size 5.70"
Please Note: These dust collector reducer fittings will not connect directly to dust collection ports, nor fit PVC pipes or other plastic fittings without the proper connector. They are meant to act as "step-down" reducers to connect your hoses.

- 4" Wall thickness .100" (no noticeable taper)
- 4" Adapter section 3-1/8" deep – providing enough room to clamp the hose.
- 6" Nominal end – (OD 5-15/16" | ID 5-45/64")
- 6" Wall thickness is .115" (slight taper)
- 6" Adapter section is 2-5/8" deep – providing room to clamp hose
- 6" Section has a shoulder that acts as a stop for the 6" hose.
